I was honestly so suprised by how much they fit into this game. Seeing references to Crisis Core and other sources was fun and was interesting to see how they centralized the whole lore of the compilation. I know the minigames were a hit or miss for many people but I personally loved seeing it as an homage to the original FF7. The original FF7 had a goofier tone at moments (Scarlet and Heidegger' laugh, the CPR minigame, etc etc), so I'm glad that they still embraced that in Rebirth.
